As a religious Jewess who covered her hair, Michal became increasingly alarmed by a heavily overpriced wig market. Michal & Yitzhak saw a need, particularly within the religious Jewish world, to provide high quality custom wigs but at affordable prices.
There could be no compromise on quality.
But the question was – how could this be achieved?
Michal & Yitzhak sought to adopt a simple strategy of bypassing expensive wig sellers, and selling directly to the client, which also avoided high-end boutique overhead costs.
After completing an extensive Wig training course, Michal and Yitzhak formed Michal Wigs and hand-made production began.
Michal Wigs initially began selling to the Israeli market. As the brand reputation of quality, affordability, and service excellence grew, so demand increased, and the company expanded its sales into the European market. Today, Michal Wigs sells thousands of wigs each year directly to clients from London to Paris.
With the phenomenal growth of sales over the last years, Michal Wigs has now expanded sales to the U.S. market, and looks forward to extending the same affordable quality and service excellence to clients across the U.S.
